Dexcee began her education in film at home studying youtube videos and creating her first short film at 13 years old. She attended a high school specialized in writing and participating in after school theatre based programs like Drama Leagues New Visions New Voices. While attending the NYC College of Technology she took courses at BRIC Arts & Media and started creating independent content like music & promotional videos. Shortly after she transferred to Brooklyn College and was able to retain more knowledge from working on student films . Some of those roles were production assistant, set designer, sound mixer and gaffer.
Her Mission is to create a voice for people to relate to which is what she embodied when she create her first short film First Date Jitter; that talks about the inner emotions of millennial dating. She plans on continuing to reach her goals through narrative films, documentaries and other forms of media when she graduates in Spring 2022.
